A Message to Our Clients & Friends

Landsberg Bennett Private Wealth Management prioritizes the safety of our clients and their friends and that is why we have cancelled all of our events in the near future.

We are closely monitoring all information and new developments released by the CDC. We understand that many people are anxious about the spread of coronavirus in our community and across the globe. With so much being reported, we feel that it is important to continue to provide you with an update on the current situation as well as provide you with information on how to protect yourself.

The coronavirus is thought to spread primarily person-to-person, within six feet, when an infected person coughs or sneezes. The most common symptoms of coronavirus include fever and cough, congestion or shortness of breath.

How do I know if I’m at risk?

If you have had contact with someone known to have tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) and you are exhibiting respiratory symptoms, you should contact your healthcare provider.

Additionally, if you have been to impacted countries listed in the CDC travel advisories or areas of ongoing spreadand you are experiencing respiratory symptoms, we recommend you contact your healthcare provider before going to the doctor’s office or hospital.

Any needed testing would be determined in coordination with the FL Department of Health and CDC.

What are the symptoms of COVID-19?

The symptoms of COVID-19 are similar to other respiratory illnesses, such as the common cold and flu. The most common of these symptoms include:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath

According to the CDC, symptoms can range from mild to severe, and even life-threatening.

How can I protect myself and others?

The best prevention for COVID-19, the flu and colds, is to practice proper handwashing and respiratory etiquette. Help stop the spread of viruses by:

  • Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when coughing or sneezing.
  • Clean surfaces frequently, including countertops, light switches, cell phones and other frequently touched items.
  • If you are sick, stay home and avoid contact with others.

Stay informed.
